The most controversial shirt in Arizona.  When the artist brought us this design, we were very hesitant.  Kokopelli is so dang cute, everybody loves him ... well, maybe not everybody. The artist was adamant that kokopelli's image had been used on so many products -- earrings to tomahawks to toilet seat covers -- that the modern-era kokopelli represents nothing more than tourist-town commercialism.  If you've ever been to a tourist town in the American Southwest, you know exactly what the artist was feeling the day he came up with this design.

This shirt has stirred controversy in Sedona.  Some feel that Kokopelli is a sacred image.  More, however, understand that what we recognize as the modern kokopelli is simply a commercialized caricature of the original Native-American character.  This shirt is not for everyone ... and probably shouldn't be worn on Indian land ... but it is our best seller among the Sedona locals.
